Located in Wheeling, WV, Warwood Tool is an American manufacturing company that produces non powered, forged steel hand tools. We were founded in 1854, and have been in continuous operation for the last 162 years. For the entirety of our existence we have remained, and will continue to remain, 100% USA Made. Our current ownership team is only the 6th set of owners in 162 years, and has been with Warwood Tool since January of 2015.
We serve many industries, but our core business is comprised from the construction, railway maintenance, oil/gas, agriculture, mining, bridge erection, and crane/rigging industries. We manufacture over 100 different types of tools ranging from sledge hammers, pry bars, wrecking bars, pins, punches, mattocks, picks, and mauls. We are geared towards large industrial applications, so our tools come in a wide variety of sizes (20lb sledges and 10ft leverage bars). We oversee 100% of the manufacturing process at our Wheeling location. We bring in steel bars, and are capable of handling everything from the shearing of raw steel, to the heat treatment/quality control process, to the paint and handling.
